youth, take 2.

I've taken on the daunting summer activity of cleaning off my bedroom shelves in my childhood home. Found: A synopsis I wrote c. age 9 to a book that I dramatically...never wrote.

CHRISTY ALLERD: DEAD AND LOVING IT?

A make-believe friend? When 26 y.o. Christy Allerd unfortunately is hit by a car dramatically...she dies. Life after death? Luckily Christy's body was still in shape so now her "life is being a childs" imaginary friend! How does this work? Guiding this child through the tough times Christy finally allows herself to love. This book is full of tears, laughs, smiles, and frowns and read along to find out what happens in this amazingly different book.

3:53, again. I'm watching the origami swan mobile above my air conditioner dance in the current. Listening to Pet Sounds a capella, succinct perfection, brilliant/haunting. One of those moments I think I ought to remember. It's good to be back in New York even if that means I have to wash my feet every night before bed.

Don't talk, take my hand and listen to my heartbeat.
